1. How do I select an engagement ring?
At The Australian Diamond Company, our reputation is built on making every effort to give you the best in design and quality to ensure your creation perfectly reflects your special occasion. To purchase an engagement ring with confidence, we recommend you consider the design elements that will shape the ring. This task often raises questions about several elements related to materials and design choices. To confidently answer these questions, it is useful to pay attention to the taste and style of the person you are buying for. Our diamond specialists are skilled in guiding the design and precious gem selection of your piece to enhance its specialty.

7. Can ADC use my existing diamonds that were not purchased from ADC?
Not in every case. Our commitment to quality means our precious gems undergo a strict selection criteria to ensure exceptional results. While we appreciate the sentimentality of stones sourced through family heirlooms and the like, we cannot guarantee the quality of such gems.
8. Does ADC offer insurance for my jewellery?
ADC understands your jewellery is of significant sentimental value. That’s why we have partnered with QReport to provide our clients with an insurance policy that is specifically tailored to your jewellery items. Upon purchase, you may speak to a diamond specialist to discover more about the cover available to you.
9. Why can’t I get a quote over the phone or email for a diamond?
As each diamond is unique in quality and appearance, we cannot provide fixed quotes for diamonds against a budget or the 4Cs over the phone or in email. In our showroom, we demonstrate the unique characteristics of each diamond with our expertise and specialty equipment. This precise level of detail cannot be expressed over the phone or in an email and only serves to create a relationship of pricing against a certificate. By viewing diamonds in person, you are equipped with the insight and confidence required to make an informed decision.
10. Do I have to book an appointment to visit the showroom?
While it is not a strict requirement, we recommend you schedule an appointment to ensure a diamond specialist will be available at a time convenient for you.
11. Does ADC deal in second-hand goods?
No. As our commitment to quality is the cornerstone of our success, we do not buy, sell or trade in second-hand goods. This policy includes the purchase of diamonds, gems and materials purchased from ADC.
12. Are goods sold with a warranty? If so, what are the conditions?
Every ADC creation is sold with a lifetime warranty that covers workmanship related issues on the condition that each ADC creation is maintained by visiting our showroom for a complimentary assessment and clean once every 12 months. This means repairs related to workmanship can be carried out as a complimentary gesture to ensure your piece looks as gorgeous as it did the day you took it home. Impact damage and loss are not covered by our warranty policy.
13. What maintenance services are included in my purchase?
All ADC creations are sold with a lifetime cleaning and assessment service to ensure your pieces remain in optimum condition. This can be done by visiting our showroom and requires approximately 10-15 minutes per piece.
